4th of July Themed Party

Kids either love fireworks or they hate them. They can be really pretty to look at but they sure can be loud! I’ve gathered some ideas for you if your littles don’t like fireworks or if you want something to do to celebrate before the big show. Heres 4 July 4th themed activities that your kids will love!

1. Make a silent firework show
All you need is a clear container (I prefer a mason jar), oil and food coloring!
Mix 4 drops of each color of the food coloring with 3 tablespoons of oil then add the mixture into the jar filled 3/4 full of warm water.

2. Twig Stars
All you need is twigs, paint and a glue gun!
Have your littles pick up some twigs from the yard, cut the twigs into even sticks (you’ll need 5 per star), then just glue them together to make a star and paint them. You can even add some twine or fishing line and hang them up somewhere!

3. Paint Fireworks
All you need is water, cardstock, watercolors, white kids glue and salt!
On the cardstock paper have your kiddos draw fireworks (depending on age you might want to draw it and have them trace, you can use the fireworks on the free printable included). Then use the kids glue to trace the drawing, while the glue is still wet sprinkle the salt over letting it stick to the glue. Once the glue has dried (shouldn’t take long) use the watercolors to paint the salt.

4. Activity Pages with Games
Here is a FREE activity page for you to print and let your kiddos enjoy!

While you’re getting creative with the kiddos, don’t forget about paper goods for them (or you)! With customizable options as a keepsake to remember this special day for our country. From cups to plate to placemats, there is everything you need to bring your party to the next level!
