A Magical St. Patrick’s Day Library

Copy of valentine's day (2).png

St. Patrick’s Day can be such a fun magical holiday for your little ones. Really kick up the imaginary play and decorate their library or playroom while they are napping or after they are down for the night. That way when they wake up you can tell them a leprechaun came and left them magical books! You can even go as far as to “make a mess” where the leprechaun was or leave a special not from the magical leprechaun. If you want to make it extra fun, have the leprechaun hide something for your little one to find!

You likely already have the makings for a St. Patrick’s Day library for your kids at home. Simply go through their books and pull out the ones that are prominently green. or even ones that have rainbows! In case you are wanting to add a few to the collection I’ve rounded up our favorites below! And we always use out favorite acrylic shelves! Shelves linked here. I ordered a set of six shelves and hung them side by side.

Now that you have your green and St. Patrick’s Day themed books pulled aside now all you need is a few items to decorate with! I already had this rainbow stacker so I pulled that over to the shelves and added this fun rainbow felt garland along with these shamrocks I picked up in the dollar section of Target! I’ve rounded up a few more St. Patrick’s Day accessories you can use to decorate your little’s one playroom or library for less than $20.
