Easter might just be one of our favorite holidays over here at Sequins and Lipstick. We’re not sure if it’s all the little ones in gingham and plaid, the cute little bunny tails everywhere or the fact that Easter means spring has officially sprung! Either way, one of the timeless traditions we love is the easter basket! It’s the foundation that you can build a whole theme around! I have to admit, Easter baskets have come a long way since my childhood were plastic baskets ran galore. We love the sweet little bunny ears and traditional looks, but also think it’s super fun to get creative! Don’t be afraid to switch out a traditional Easter basket with one that has pom poms, or maybe even the picnic basket. The benefit of going with a non traditional Easter basket is one Easter has come and gone then you can use that same basket for storage in your little one’s room. We love using the felt or wired baskets for things like small toys, or if we needed a diaper changing station throughout the house!
