Laundry Room Renovation

We recently renovated our laundry room… well, recently as in late last year and I am just not posting this but I digress. I’m so happy with how this room turned out!!! Our laundry room was originally downstairs and we changes that space to a mud room. You can read more about that project in this post about our mudroom.

We had an extra area in our master bedroom and it was the perfect size for a small, upstairs laundry room! We added a wall to close it off and now you can’t even tell it wasn’t there to begin with. It’s a much better use of the space and fits the needs of our family so much better!

Originally I thought about adding more shelves or a lower cabinet with doors, but this rolling laundry hamper (and mini ironing board top) has worked out perfectly.

Ballard drying rack knock off alert!

Originally I wanted these Ballard drying racks but the size wouldn’t work for our size. So I found this option on Amazon and they are perfection, at a fraction of the cost. We also added a comfortable house of noa mat for in front of the washer and dryer.

This space turned out so well that I don’t mind coming in here to do laundry. It always helps keep me motivated when the area around me is nice and pretty. Are you ready to see the before and afters? You’ll be amazed that its the same area!

Crazy right?! If you love all the behind the scenes these next photos are for you!
