Nursery Reveal
I am SO excited to share little babe’s nursery with you! Ever since I found out I was pregnant with a little boy I knew there would be no shortage of light blue in this room. It’s one of my favorite colors and I’m excited for everything to come together for our sweet new addition. Take a look and let me know what you think in the comments below!
Just like with any home project, we started with paint colors! Not only did we paint the walls, we also painted the trim and door too. In the world of social media this might seem fairly common but out here in the real world it felt like a risk. But the risk paid off. Looks so good!
We went with Moonmist SW9144 at 75% for the walls and Sleepy Hollow SW9145 for the trim and doors. We used my favorite white paint, Chantilly Lace, for the ceiling. I’m sure you’ve heard it before but let me reiterate… paint the swatches on your walls before you start a project! Those paper chips are basically worthless. You need to see the color on your wall, with your lighting and live with it in your space. It really makes a big difference.
This dresser table area may just be my favorite part of the nursery, though. The dresser was in Georgia’s room but when we upgraded her to a big girl room brother go it! Also, I highly recommend this changing pad, it is also a scale so you can keep an eye on babies weight. I personally like the look better than having a basket type changing pad on the top of the dresser. If you are on the hunt for a new rug, look no more! This rug is affordable, great quality and looks so much like popular oushak wool rugs. The glider, crib, nesting baskets and giraffe are also all from sister’s nursery but I did link up similar if they’re sold out!
This is probably my favorite room in the house right now. I love the calm and organization of a nursery before the baby arrives. But it all honesty this room was a hot mess until just recently. Second pregnancies really have a whole different timeline than the first time around. It’s been nice but also stressful in some ways. Thanks for following along and I hope you enjoyed a peek into Baby Reed’s nursery!
