Baby Boy’s Nursery Inspo
It’s hard to believe we’re only a few months away from Baby Boy making his big debut. Sometimes these past months feel like years, other times it seems like seconds. But the one thing that has really settled my nerves has been planing out the nursery. Designing this room to be the sweetest baby boy nursery that you ever did see.
The main mission is to keep the room cozy and inviting. I want to keep the blue theme, so no surprise that was where we started with the design process. Honestly, I am so in love with this Inso board that I can not wait for it to all come together in real life!
Here is the inspo rooms I found on Pinterest! I love that the curtains, bed skirt and glider all have the same fabric, I feel like it really complements the room as a whole.
We first started with picking out the right blues for the room. I’m feeling daring so I think we’ll paint the crown molding, baseboards and doors a darker shade of the same blue we’ll paint the walls. Fingers crossed it looks a good as it does on the internet.
For paint we decided on SW9144 Moonmist at 75% for the walls and Sleepy Hollow SW9145 for the trim.
I also ordered some swatches from Pepper Textiles for the cloth pieces, and they are in the running for window treatment fabric.
Now that we have paint and fabric, it was time to find the furniture and room accessories! I’ve gathered my favorites for you! Let me know your favorite pieces! We’re still trying to decide on a few things but I enjoy a good collage to start the planning process.
Update: Baby boy Reed arrived and his nursery is complete! For the final reveal please check out this blog post.
Let me know your favorite pieces! We’re still trying to decide on a few things and would love your input!
